Nair Service Societh (Andheri), a Social, Cultural, Charitabl and Educational Organisation, made its beginning in 2000. In the last 5 years, Nair Service Society (Andheri) has undertaken quite a number of charity works.

| Aims and Objectives |
- Establish Schools, College and other educational institutions etc. for the public in general.
- Establish Industrial Centers.
- Provide financial assistance to economically weaker as well as meritorious students, aid to poor people and other Social Services.
- Promote education also by providing Scholarships, Merit Awards and Prizes etc.
- Provide Free Medical Aid, organize Medical and Blood Donation Camps.
- Set up and conduct community Centers, Libraries, Students Hostels, Hospitals etc.
- Help people affected by natural calamities.

| Though the aims and objectives have a wider scope, the present activities are limited to only a part thereof as NSS (Andheri) is still in its infant stage due to paucity of Funds. Yet it has excelled in specific areas like:

- Providing
- Education, Scholarships, merit awards and prizes.
- Financial assistance to students.
- Free medical aid, blood donation.
- Assisting members and their families through its
- Marriage Cell
- Employment cell
- Ladies wing
- Youth wind
- Extending its services to families at times of bereavement
- Helping those affected by natural calamities.

| In 2005, NSS (Andheri) reached a corner stone with the formation of “Shree Vidyadhiraja Educational and Charitable Trust (Mumbai)”. This trust is intended to establishing Educational Institutions and undertaking charitable activities.

| However, our entire objective could be achieved only with the sustained co-operation, encouragement and financial assistance from its members and well wishers. For this, it is essential to bridge the communication gap amongst the members. As a first step, we are bringing out a Member’s Directory. This small attempt would help the members reach the office bearers and others, faster at times of utmost need.
